I was invited by Curt Schroder to attend the GOP Dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia, PA.

Actor Robert Davi (An American Carol, License to Kill, Scarface) was there.

With Chetty Ferry and Curt Schroder.

Bob Asher, PA Attorney General Tom Corbert, Rich, and Craig Williams.  Earlier that day, Craig Williams debated Joe Sestak and won hands down.  Craig has been endorsed by the Phila Inquire.

With Steve Kantrowitz and Gunny Jenkins.  Steve is a former Navy Admiral, running a great campaign for State Senator and Marine Gunny Jenkins is an Iraq War Veteran.

Robert Davi livens up the crowd with a great speech.

Bottom line is, the gap is closing.  McCain is gaining ground and he should not be counted out.  McCain is a proven leader, he WILL NOT be tested, like Obama will (“Mark my words” said Joe Biden, Obama will be tested within 6 months by an international crisis, I guarantee it”).  Personally, I don’t want to be attacked again – because next time, it’s gonna be a lot worse.

Obama wants us to work hard so he and the Dems can take our wealth and spread it around to those who don’t want to pull their weight.  Obama is a smooth talker, but don’t let him fool you, he’s inexperienced, he’s got shadyfriends, he’ll bring corrupt Chicago politics to America.  Ask yourself this… “Why are all the dictators and terror leaders endorsing Obama?”  Why do they want Obama to be elected President?”  They know they can hit us and Obama will probably say it was our fault, our policies that caused it.   The morale of our troops will go way down if Obama wins, and believe me, morale means a lot when you have to fight for your country – Let’s make sure they get the Commander-In-Chief they want and deserve.

Obama will continue the leftist indoctination of our kids in school.  Cuba got change in 1959…

McCain and Palin are the true reformers.  They’ll make the government work for the people instead of making us work for the government.  McCain will keep us strong and safe.  If Obama wins, make sure your soul is right.

The weather forecast was lousy, but the patriots of the Chester County Victory Movement had another huge turnout and ended up being blessed with very decent weather. Only a slight drizzle came down.

American Sheepdogs remain optimistic that our troops will get the Commander-In-Chief they want and deserve.

The media is so determined to have Obama elected President that they have gone completely in the tank in promoting him.   NBC is the worst, and is actually campaigning totally in Obama’s favor.  The vicious attacks by the media against Sarah Palin have been disgraceful, Katie Couric distorted the Henry Kisinger quote about the Vietnam War, Charles Gibson distorted the Bush Doctrine, and yesterday a reporter from CNN, interviewing Sarah completely misquoted a report while he smeared and insulted Sarah during the interview.

We are in a propaganda war and those who want Obama to win have the superior firepower.  They have the television media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC), the have the print media (NY Times, LA Times, almost all the papers), they have Academia (most teachers are liberal and bring their political views into the classroom),  Hollywood, the Music Industry, MTV, VH1, and Unions.  All the big cities are controlled by the Liberal Democrats.

Let’s not forget ACORN and they way they are trying to steal the campaign with massive voter fraud.

Teachers and Media are brainwashing and indoctrinating the youth that America is to blame for all the problems in the world.  The left knows that if you control education, you can control the country.

And finally, there’s the liberal politicians, who use their power and positions to keep pounding a drumbeat of lies and misinformation that the republicans are who is to blame for the financial crisis and energy problems.

There is one area that the Leftists have overlooked, and that’s the American people.  Try as they might to manipulate the thoughts and minds of everyone.  The American people are not as gullible as the leftists think they are.   This makes the left crazy and causes them to lose control.

If the media was fair and did their job to report the news accurately, and if teachers stopped indoctrinating students with their political bias, then the left would remain the minority that they are.  But the left is “power hungry” and continues to put party before country.

The good news is that the majority of Americans are smart and can see through the smokescreen of misinformation and see the truth.  I look forward to the day when we will put the country’s interest first, when we will solve problems and not politicize them.  But the left wants control of everything and is intolerant to anyone who disagrees with them.

If Obama wins this election our country will be in grave danger in so many ways.   Joe Biden has said, “Mark my words, we will be tested within 6 months with an international crisis.”   With Obama as President and a majority in the House and Senate, they will take this country into a hard left direction, especially with judicial apointments.

The left is using “The Polls” to dampen our spirits with constant news about “the big lead” that Obama has.  They want to discourage us.  But we remain strong and our spirits are high because we believe in our values and principles.  We don’t have a hidden agenda, we will continue to stand up and support our troops and country and we will work hard to counter-balance the Left’s attempt to steal this election.

Stay up America, keep the faith, use the power of prayer, and visit your local campaign headquarters and ask them what you can do to help in this election.  Maybe you can make calls, or go door to door, or work the polls on election day.

We are part of a huge revival of patriotism that is going on in this area and around the country and we must continue to fight back against this huge propaganda machine.  United we stand.

Once again proud patriotic Americans stood together in support of our country and our troops.

Filed under: Rallies — Rich Davis @ 12:17 am

During the last 2 democrat presidencies, our enemies have crept up on us, gotten bolder, and HIT US.  During Carter, the radical muslims saw his weakness and held Americans hostage for 444 days in Iran.  During Clinton, they saw the weakness and hit us with terror attacks time and time again, year after year, only to see Clinton treat them like “crimes” instead of acts of war.  Thank Clinton for allowing Osama Bin Ladin to consider the USA a “paper tiger” who will “cut and run” like he did in Somalia.

And now Joe Biden guarantees that Obama will be tested because he knows our enemies think BO is weak.  You can bet they won’t test McCain – they KNOW he’s not weak and he means business.  Biden knows Obama is not ready to be Commander-In-Chief, he said it when he ran against him.  And if Obama wins, the morale of the troops, will drop.  The troops want McCain to be their CIC by a landslide 68 to 23 percent (Army Times).  Morale means a lot to the Troops success, and it dropped big time during the 8 Clinton years, I know, I was there.  If Obama wins, get the white flags ready.

Joe Biden on Sunday guaranteed that if elected, Sen. Barack Obama will be tested by an international crisis within his first six months in power and he will need supporters to stand by him as he makes tough, and possibly unpopular, decisions.

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Not only will the next administration have to deal with foreign affairs issues, Biden warned, but also with the current economic crisis.

“Gird your loins,” Biden told the crowd. “We’re gonna win with your help, God willing, we’re gonna win, but this is not gonna be an easy ride. This president, the next president, is gonna be left with the most significant task. It’s like cleaning the Augean stables, man. This is more than just, this is more than – think about it, literally, think about it – this is more than just a capital crisis, this is more than just markets. This is a systemic problem we have with this economy.”

“I’ve forgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know, so I’m not being falsely humble with you. I think I can be value added, but this guy has it,” the Senate Foreign Relations chairman said of Obama. “This guy has it. But he’s gonna need your help. Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, ‘Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?’ We’re gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I’m asking you now, I’m asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you’re going to have to reinforce us.”

[notice how the liberals always worry about 'the polls' - is this any way to lead?]

“There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don’t know about that decision’,” Biden continued. “Because if you think the decision is sound when they’re made, which I believe you will when they’re made, they’re not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they’re popular, they’re probably not sound.”

[What the hell is Biden saying?  And the Obama-loving media thinks Biden is sharp]

Biden emphasized that the mountainous Afghanistan-Pakistan border is of particular concern, with Osama bin Laden “alive and well” and Pakistan “bristling with nuclear weapons.”

“You literally can see what these kids are up against, our kids in that region,” Biden said in recalling when his helicopter was forced down due to a snowstorm there. “The place is crawling with al Qaeda. And it’s real.”

“We do not have the military capacity, nor have we ever, quite frankly, in the last 20 years, to dictate outcomes,” he cautioned. “It’s so much more important than that. It’s so much more complicated than that. And Barack gets it.”

[ we know he gets our tax dollars - WORK HARD, SHARE YOUR WEALTH..]

After speaking for just over a quarter of an hour, Biden noticed the media presence in the back of the small ballroom.

“I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here,” he joked.

[Biden is a joke. ]

“All kidding aside, these guys have left us in a God-awful place,” he then said of the Bush regime, promptly wrapping up his remarks. “We have the ability to straighten it out. It’s gonna take a little bit of time, so I ask you to stay with us. Stay with us.”  ABC News Story.

Imagine – Obama will be relying on Biden’s advice.  Let’s hope (and pray) the country sees that McCain is the man we need for this job.  The troops know a leader when they see one.  If you are undecided, then vote for the guy the troops want, they’re the ones who will do the heavy lifting.

Most of us know Sharon very well.  She started a national organization called “A Hero’s Welcome” while her Army husband served 15 months combat duty in Afghanistan.

Sharon was a proud attendee of our Victory Rallies each and every Saturday until she decided to join the Troops she had been supporting this past May.  She graduated from USMC Officer Candidate School (OCS) in August.  Many of us went to her graduation.  She’s now attending TBS (The Basic School) for officers in Quantico, VA.   Below is an email letter she sent last night.

Dear Sheepdogs,
First I will apologize for the long delay in this email.  I still feel as if I have yet to touch ground since May when I left for Officer Candidate School and even now I’m about to sound taps so I can hit the rack and get some rest before I have to be on base again tomorrow morning.  I wanted to thank you all for your letters of encouragement while I was at OCS and for your support of me, my goals and my organization (and of course my Marines.) I know it came as a shock to many of you that I was leaving so quickly but please know it had been in my heart to be a Marine since my grandfather passed away on February 4, 1992.  I always told myself that since God took away a good Marine, I would put one back.  In August I did just that and became the first female and the first officer in my family.  It was a great feeling.  My mom, dad and brother pinned on my new 2nd Lt. butter bars and it was nice to have the Marines in my family be a part of my commissioning since it was nearly 2 decades in the making.
I had little time to prepare for my husband to come home a week after graduation from his long 15 month deployment to Afghanistan and we spent every minute together before we again had to part ways in early September.  Ian should be home by year’s end and atleast then we will be in the same country and time zone.  I’ve calculated that we will have spent only 5 weeks together in our first year of marriage! But it’s all worth it because our sacrifice is our country’s freedom.
Please know that I think of you all every Saturday and hope to stop by some time in the near future to wave my Marine Corps flag and thank each of you for your support.  Keep doing what you are doing and know that when you stand on that corner in West Chester that you are holding a line just as my Marines are holding a line in Iraq, Afghanistan and the horn of Africa.  To let you know how much your support means to our men and women in uniform I’ll leave you with a quick story I heard one of the Corporals on the rifle range tell this past week.  He was telling the other rifle range coaches about his experience at a Nascar event and how he and another Marine got to celebrate with the pit crews and drivers after a race.  They were so excited to meet the drivers and when everyone found out they were Marines, the focus shifted from Nascar to them.  THEY were treated as the celebrities and were honored as the Heroes that they are.  He said “they were so excited we were Marines, can you believe that?!” It made me smile because I knew we were doing the right thing with how we treat and support our Heroes.  So keep up the great work.  Thank you for your support, God Bless America and toast our Troops when you grab that beer after the rally.
Semper Fidelis,
Lt. Sharon Hyland Keyser, USMC

Manion for congress
Rich with Janet and Tom Manion.  Tom is running for Congress and deserves our support and vote.  In the “small world” category – I went to junior high with Janet and I can tell you, she is the “All-American” girl, salt of the earth, always with a smile and helping hand.  It’s no wonder she raised such a hero son (Travis) with her great husband.  They are exactly the kind of people we need in Washington.  Please visit Tom Manion’s website and support his campaign.

Manion for congress!

Rich, Skye, Chris Hill (Nat’l Dir of Gathering of Eagles) and Sheepdog Mike.  These are my good friends, fellow patriots who have been together for over 14 months, week after week, supporting our troops.

Manion for congress!

The Vets For Freedom were in the house!  Here I am with VFF co-founder and Iraq hero David Bellavia.  What a great job they are doing.  They go around the country describing the progress and success of our troops and why we need to finish the mission.   They deserve our attention and support.

TOM MANION FOR CONGRESS! (Patrick Murphy must go)

Filed under: Rallies — Rich Davis @ 1:34 pm

I attended a great event for the Tom Manion campaign on Wed Oct 8.  He’s a 30-year Marine with the core values we need in Congress.

He’s in a tough race with the Democrat’s poster boy, Patrick Murphy, who receives a ton of George Soros MoveOn.org money because he’s a “cut and run” veteran and a partisan liberal who votes according to leftist Nancy Pelosi.

Tom Manion is a real American hero and He’ll solve problems, not politicize them.

I went to his fundraiser on Oct 8 and gladly wrote out a check to help him win.  If you live in Bucks County, or you have friends and relatives in Bucks County, CALL THEM UP and ask them to vote for Tom Manion!

I will have photos from the fundraiser and more available later.

Click on Tom’s website HERE:  Below is his bio:

Tom Manion comes to the race for Congress not as a career politician, but as a regular citizen called to public service in extraordinary times. Tom grew up in the Philadelphia area and is one of ten children. His father was a salesman and his mother raised the family. Together, they worked very hard to provide. And they, like any parents, wanted the best for Tom and his brothers and sisters.

Tom’s parents believed in service, though back then they called it “helping others.” They believed in the promise and opportunity of America. These are beliefs Tom’s parents instilled deeply in him.

Tom graduated from our public schools and then worked his own way through college, graduating from Widener University. He then went on to serve his country in the Marines.

Tom served 11 years of active duty as a Marine, and another 19 years in the Marine Reserves, retiring at the end of 2007 as a Colonel. While serving our country, Tom also furthered his education, earning a Masters Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School. The Marines strengthened in Tom the belief in helping others that his parents had nurtured.

After ending his active service, Tom began consulting for Fortune 500 companies and then, in 1990, began a successful career as a business executive at Johnson and Johnson. 1990 is also when Tom and his wife Janet moved to Bucks County.

Married now for nearly 30 years, Tom and Janet raised their children in Bucks County, sending them to our local schools. Their daughter Ryan and her husband Dave live in Doylestown with Tom’s granddaughter, Maggie Rose. For nearly 20 years, our community has been Tom’s home and he wants it to remain as special for future generations as it has been for him.

Tom and Janet’s son, Travis, was a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and gave his life in Iraq last year. He made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of public service. And in doing so, Travis reminded Tom that his service to our country – and his fellow citizens – is not over.

Today, Tom is again called to service — inspired by his son’s sacrifice, supported by his family, and committed to making a difference on all the issues that affect America and our local community.

Tom Manion is running for Congress as an outsider – an ordinary citizen – committed to changing our government so it once again works for us.

Tom’s unique life experiences have prepared him to serve at this crucial time in our nation’s history.

As a successful business executive and Marine Colonel, Tom has spent nearly 30 years bringing people of different views together to solve problems. He has learned firsthand that working together and building relationships gets results. And he knows that the risk of making tough decisions is much less than the risk of not making them at all.

Now Tom will bring this proven ability to bring people together to Washington – where he will lead the fight for the change that is so desperately needed to ensure every American is provided the hope and opportunity that was afforded to him and his family.
