Encouragement From Iraq

Filed under: Heroes — Sean @ 10:02 am

A recent post from Gunny Jenkins states clearly one of the main reasons why we rally every single Saturday.

About midway, he writes:

As Americans we need to remain positive with the war effort and the reconciliation of Iraq.  Protestors of this war encourage terrorist by providing them the propaganda to recruit more IED emplacers and the cowardly random shooters.  We have killed and captured so many bad actors that the spark of terrorism is nearly extinguished.  Don’t let the protestors kindle their spirit.

I’ve said it to the protesters before, and Gunny Jenkins is saying it from Iraq – my sign didn’t get anyone killed tomorrow.

Gunny Jenkins brings up some other critical pieces of information about Iraq and their culture that you don’t read much about in major media.  Click here to read the full post!

  2. Sean,

    Thanks.

GnySgt Jenkins knows that the boxes are filled by the Sheepdogs on Saturdays and said to thank everyone for their generousity.

Everything (but jelly beans) is shared with his junior Marines.

Thank you to everybody for your caring kindness towards the troops.

  3. I hope Karen Porter would read Gunny Sgt Jenkins Blog and think about how she is encouraging the opposition. Did you all send a link or a copy of Gunny Sgt Jenkins Blog to her?

  4. Jenn,

The recent harvard study concludes that actins such as Porter’s “peace vigil” has consequences for our troops. They embolden the enemy and result in more attacks, hence more deaths.

So Karen has to ask herself, are the 800+ deaths in this war resulting from her actions worth it? Who is she to decide those folks have to die for her cause, especially when NOBODY elected her?

    Porter Lies, Troops Die.

  5. Just got an email from Jonathan yesterday. I told him how much we deeply appreciate and are filled with pride with their fighting in Iraq (him and his soldiers – all of them) I told him that I was so grateful that the troops are fighting for me because I can not fight. They are my strength in my weakness. Our freedoms are so precious! God Bless the Troops!

  6. So when will Karen Porter get the message that she is part of the problem; I doubt the thought has come across her mind that she is part of the problem. People like this just burn my biscuits.

  10. For what “Noble Cause” did Karen Porter let 800+ Soldiers die?

For an enslaved Iraq? A nuclear Iran led by a madman who almost everyday makes it plain he intends genocide against Israel? Unfettered terrorist attacks on free people by Hezzbollah, Hamas and Fatah? To let King Jong Il starve his nation’s people so as to afford nuclear weapons he spreads around the world?

Porter doesn’t have a Noble Cause, just an unending hatred of America.
