Thank you so much for what you are doing! Both my wife and I are active duty Navy, my brother, a Marine, recently returned from Iraq and my cousin is Air Force.
We want your support, we need your support. The anti-war movement wants us to come home . . . essentially, they wan’t us to quit.
What they fail to understand is that US Sailors, Soldiers, Airmen and Marines don’t and won’t “quit”. We fight for what we believe in . . . and we believe in a better world.
MMCM(SS) Chris, USN
and this
I just read the news article in the early bird about Protesting the AntiWar Protestors. Let me say Thanks. I am an Afghan/Iraq Vet x 3 and currently serving in SE Asia. Keep up the good work and pass the good word about what we are really doing overseas and how we are helping everyone out.
Semper Fi!
James

I have yet to hear someone on active duty ask me to stop what I’m doing. But I’ve heard plenty of them say they’d like the CCPM types to stop their antics. And I didn’t say that the military people want to take away the rights from the anti-Amreicans, they just wish they’d be responsible and not embolden the enemy.

Chris/James-Thank you for what you are doing for us including the ungrateful! We appreciate the sacrifice you and your families are making for the rest of us. You are couregous! Thank God for people like you that believe in America and what you are fighting for!
Those anti-war protestors do embolden the enemy and demoralize the troops. I’m sure those anti-war protestors would not want people to be constantly criticizing their “jobs”!!! It is demoralizing! I really think they should pack up and move to another country since they are so unappreciative of the U.S.A. and all that she stands for. I think they need to see firsthand how the other half lives!
So get “r” done! Excellent job! Thank you!! God Bless America and her military!

Hey Summer Rose,
Are you serious, do those anti-war folks really have jobs?

Let us not forget the soldiers that died fighting for our freedom. It seems that we all know someone in Iraq or know someone who is connected to someone who is fighting for us over there. On Military.com, I came across a story about a valient solder, Marine Cpl. Jeff Starr, who died on May 30, 2005 in Ramadi when a bullet went through his heart from sniper fire. When his computer returned 2 months later after his death, his father found a letter which said:
“Obviously if you are reading this then I have died in Iraq. I kind of predicted this – that is why I’m writing this in November. A third time just seemed like I’m pushing my chances. I don’t regret going, everybody dies but few get to do it for something as important as freedom.”
Starr, who was a leader and excelled in Martial Arts and playing cards, was just about ready to come home for good from his 3x tour in Iraq.
Earlier in his tour, he and his 13 fellow marines fought off hundreds on insurgents in which they all had a very close encounter with death.
It is stories (realities) like this that remind me how brave and dedicated our troops are and are willing to make sacrafices for my freedoms.

Once again, I am reminded of how truly great our fighting men and women are, when they thank US for just basically doing the right thing.
It is you and your sacrifices which we are ever grateful for! And that is why we are making our stand in support of all the troops and their mission. Thank you, God bless you and stay safe.
