QUENTIN CODY WOWS ‘EM AT THE PHILADELPHIA TEA PARTY

Filed under: Rallies — Rich Davis @ 1:09 am

Quentin Cody, the 11-year old from Downingtown, was a featured speaker at the Philadelphia Tea Party II at Independence Mall.  He also spoke at our West Chester Tea Party on Apr 4th.   His speech fired up the crowd.  Below is the text.

“Thank you Mr. Adams! My name is Quentin Cody and I’m really excited to be here right where it all started…   Independence Hall.  I know the Founding Fathers like George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson are looking down on us. They are excited to see us fighting to keep our freedoms alive, our Republic alive and our Constitution alive.

The founders and even the public knew about history and its forms of government. Our founders were also heroes who risked their fortunes and lives in order to establish a nation like no other. George Washington led our nation, not for money or power, but because he had a great passion for America and its citizens. He also had a great passion for freedom, and a strong faith in God.

Like George Washington, we have all come here for one reason: we LOVE America and want it to remain the GREATEST and most prosperous country in the world. A free, prosperous, and moral USA will once again lead to another 5000 year leap in living conditions around the world.

I really thank you for coming to this tea party because it’s my generation and future generations that will be hurt the most by this out of control government spending and nanny state socialist policies.  Policies like free prescription drugs, free welfare checks, free Health care, free housing, free food, and free education.

We have to stop this madness. We have to take our country BACK!

All those “free” things will bankrupt this country. Does anyone here think we can steal our way to prosperity?  NO!   But … a nation of free, hard-working, and prosperous individuals will make it possible to achieve the best living conditions. Only individuals can create wealth. Governments that spread wealth will eventually destroy wealth.

We have to stop this madness. We have to take our country BACK!

Our government is taxing too much, spending WAY too much, and still are borrowing or printing TRILLIONS of dollars!

We have to stop this madness. We have to take our country BACK!

The original Boston Tea Party rebelled against unfair British rule, taxation without representation and in part because of a 3% tea tax. Now some pay more than 50% in taxes. We need the FAIRTAX.  We have to take our country BACK!

Our Founding Fathers set up a constitution that was built on values and principles such as limited government, individual liberties, and personal responsibility.

We the people are responsible for getting our out-of-control government back under control. So let’s get to work on our own and together, and we will save the nation and the world. We have to take our country BACK!

I have one final request.  Please pray for our military heroes past and present who know that freedom isn’t free but it is worth fighting for.
I also want to thank someone else who was willing to die for us – Jesus Christ. THANK YOU Jesus, thank you God, and God Bless America!

  2. Thank you, Quentin. The hope for America is that young people like yourself will sustain its values. American youth need to hear the truth from their own generation because they have learned to distrust my generation. You have “stepped up to the plate” and I’m proud of you. May God bless you and you and your family.

  3. What an amazing young man! Wherever he gets it from he’s got it good. I heard him speak at West Chester and, everything considered, he is quite mature and well-spoken for age 11. Remember Quentin in your prayers. He will need it!
