The Chester County Victory Movement goes global
(From the ‘About CCVM’ page:)
The Chester County Victory Movement started with a simple purpose – to support our troops.
One Sheepdog, retired Navy veteran Rich Davis of West Chester, decided that he had had enough of the weekly displays on the corner of High and Market Streets. Realizing that their anti-America and anti-troop agenda was emboldening our enemies and putting our troops in harm’s way, Rich stepped in with his simple sign and statement. Support the Troops.
Since then he has been joined by other like-minded individuals every Saturday at 11:00 am. We are a growing number who feel similarly to Rich, who want our troops to know that the anti-American propagandists don’t speak for America. We will continue to provide that positive message every week, and we will continue to expose the ‘other’ side for its lies and its danger to America.

Congratulations on the new website! I look forward to reading future posts!

Congratulations on the website. Sometimes we need to let people know where we stand, and though I am not there on the at the movement I firmly believe in what the troops are doing. And in my own small way I do what I can here in Maryland I support not only our troops but our Veterans because without the Veterans the troops would not have anyone to look up too.
Keep up the Good Work
May God bless you all.
Lookig forward to more posts.

Tom Paine said some two hundred and thirty years ago “Those who expect to reap the blessings of FREEDOM must like men, undergo the fatique of suppoting it.”
The courageous Men and Women that we honor and respect so much have not only supported FREEDOM, but they have given it to Fifty million more human beings that
would otherwise be living in fear, and oppression. May God Bless each and every member of our MILITARY for their Sacrifices, their Dedication to the Mission,
and their Courage.

It is great to see people who stand up for America in her hour of need. She has taken a lot, but the last thing she needs are disloyal people who seem to blame America for all the world’s problems and seem to think we are the worst planet in the history of world, when its the freediom she grants that let them speak in such ways.

To all those who took the time to visit our website. We have been touched very much by the words of encouragement and support.
Thank you all so much – your emails and comments mean the world.
We Sheepdogs remain “Happy Warriors” and we hope to see you at a rally sometime.
To the Troops!
To America!
To Victory!

Who doesn’t support the troops? You’d be hard pressed to find any American who thinks it’s acceptable that so many troops are getting killed. My father was awarded a Purple Heart for injuries he sustained in the Korean War, and I proudly display his metals and wear his dress green jacket. I support the troops, of course, but I also believe in peace. I want every American to be safe, and that’s why I think the war needs to end and the troops need to come home to be with thier families and try to rebuild their lives. You seem to think anti-war, pro-peace demonstrators are also anti-troop, but those people are out ther for the same reason that you are. But they want to get the troops out of harm’s way. No one outside the White House believes “victory” is attainable in Iraq or Afghanistan. This is a bunch of propaganda that you’re promoting, you’re sucking in weak minded people and your message is very misleading. Having said that, I think it’s harmless, you have your First Amendment right to free speech and I support your right to express yourself. However, I think your message is a little too black-and-white, too simplistic, which may be why so many of your followers are the types who are easily led.

Jennifer,
[You’d be hard pressed to find any American who thinks it’s acceptable that so many troops are getting killed. ]
The majority of the peace movement endorses the killing of American troops by the “resistance”.
Tell me what major peace group did not endorse the World Tribunal on Iraq?

Jennifer,
Karen Porter is an ANSWER organizer, she even had one of the Becker brothers come to West Chester and address the CCPM.
Richard Becker authored “Counter-revolution & Resistance in Iraq” where ANSWER called for unconditional support of the enemy.
ANSWER was started as a front group for the Workers World Party (communists for war), but the peace groups never get along with each other or internally. The Becker Brothers took their toy (ANSWER) and went off and started the Party for Socialism and Liberation.
Go look around http://www.pslweb.org and tell me they’re not Communists. I need a good laugh at you and your silliness. Hey, you might catch the big sale on Che shirts.

A) There is direct correlation between Peace protests and Soldier’s deaths, according to a Harvard Study.
B) it has been said that to support the troops but not their mission is like saying you support the Eagles, but don’t want them to win, nor can you root for them.
You do not know the people who protest across the street from us. This is the message the peace protesters send weekly, “we hate America, hate it’s administration, and want the troops to come home with their tails between their legs…” Oh, and “Long live Allah!” Islam is not the enemy. No war in Iran. Their message is clear, America is the enemy, as far as they are concerned.
Having not been a party to our rallies on either side, how can you pass judgment on us, or them? We do in fact believe that there can be success on both fronts- Afghanistan and Iraq, and none of us work in the White House, nor are we paid by anyone associated with the White House. We are people who think that there has been success already in Iraq, and we believe that there will be further success if peace activists and idiots in public office let our fabulous military do their jobs!!!

Jennifer,
My support of the Troops is unqualified and as a combat veteran I abhor war. It is horribly obscene and I wish we lived in a place where it wasn’t sometimes necessary. You need to accept this isn’t a fantasy world. There are bad people in the world who have tried and are still trying to take your lunch. They would deprive you and those you care about of all the good things America has to offer. But for our brave military, all who volunteered to protect us, these bad people would have already succeeded.
You should take some time and get to know and understand the military you say you support. I have thru many emails and visits, my wife sends cookies and birthday cakes and talks to their wives. Sure they would like to be home with their families but they are committed to completing their mission, protecting us and insuring the lives and efforts already expended are not wasted. They wish to feel supported in their mission. You should try it out.
Would you please answerer me “Why does every peace activist support the troops discussion include something political”? Just the wondering’s of a weak minded easily led combat veteran who once helped pay with blood for your right to be naive, talk foolish and belittle those you don’t agree with.
Respectfully,
Ed Kurth
P.S. I am sure you are proud of your Father. I am not sure he would be so proud of you making a costume of his dress uniform.

But they want to get the troops out of harm’s way
In the same way you want the police out of harm’s way, firefighters out of harm’s way, first -reponders out of harm’s way. It sounds like it might be a good idea to type out, but extremely impracticle in practice.
No one outside the White House believes “victory” is attainable in Iraq or Afghanistan.
A blatant mis-statement being reported as fact. Michael Yon just wrote an article that you might find illuminating, if you are interested in opening your mind to the WHOLE story of Iraq and Afhganistan.
The trend lines are clear. Iraq war seems to be winding-down. At this rate it is entirely conceivable that at the end of 2008 we will be able to say, in good conscience, that the Iraq war has ended.
