Congratulations to the Independence Hall Tea Party Association for organizing an outstanding Tea Party yesterday.

It was a great Tea Party, fun and educational, saw many friends and made new ones.

Happy 4th of July. We take time to remember that we have over 200,000 troops in harm’s way. They give up their summers and holidays so that we can enjoy ours. A huge turnout of regular Americans came to show our military and their families how much we appreciate their sacrifices.

We were joined yesterday by Gold Star Mom Helene Eissler, her son Freddy was a Midshipman at the US Naval Academy when he passed in Nov 2008. Standing next to Helene are 5 Blue Star Moms. Evie (son Jon is an Army Medic, Afghanistan Combat Vet), Nina (son Brian is in the Army, currently in Iraq), Mary Lou (son Matt is in the National Guard, Iraq Combat Vet), JoAnne (son Greg is a Marine Officer, Afghanistan Combat Vet) and Mary (son Grant is a Marine Officer, Iraq Combat Vet and currently in Afghanistan). We have a lot of military family members who stand with us every weekend.

Thanks to everyone for taking time to show public support and thanks to all our troops and their families. We stand behind those who stand up for us. May God bless them, protect them, and guide them to victory.

Hundreds of motorcycles rode into West Chester to join our victory rally on Saturday.
Just before 11AM, the bikers arrived at the corner thrilling the cheering crowd of patriots standing in support of our troops. After riding around the block, they parked their bikes and stood with us.

Happy Fathers Day to all our dads and especially to troops who are fathers and fathers of military members. Our Troops give up their summers so that we can enjoy ours. We are proud to stand outside together and show public support and gratitude for all our brave men and women in uniform.

Our World War II Veteran, Frank, wasn’t at the rally because he is in the hospital. His daughter Mary Ann came to tell us the sad news, and took his place in the center of the group photo and held the flag for us as we sang the Star Spangled Banner and recited the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

Frank will be in our thoughts and prayers and we hope he will rejoin us soon.

Mary Ann passed the “Support Our Troops” coin from her father to Sheriff Bunny Welsh. The Sheriff is a good friend and supporter of our victory movement, she oftens comes to our rallies and events and her presence always adds to the fun.

Summer brought her 2 grandkids, are rallies are family events and we are always happy when the children show up.

Above, Mary informs us how to send messages to our troops via the military’s email system, it allows messages to get to them in a couple days, instead of a couple weeks. Letters to the troops is one of the best ways we can boost their morale. Thanks Mary!

Thanks to all our brave soldiers, sailors, airmen, guardsmen, and Marines, may God bless you, protect you, and guide you victory. We love you and we will not let your sacrifices go to waste. We enjoy our freedoms, because of you.

I forgot my camera.  So I don’t have any pictures from the rally this week. So I’ll share a few from other rallies.

Here’s Frank, our WWII veteran. He’s undergoing tests and treatment and was unable to attend our rally on Saturday June 19. It was the first rally he’s missed in almost 2 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with him. Get well soon Frank! We miss you and need you back!

We love our flag, we love our country, we love our vets, and we love being together.

On Sunday, June 6, there was a huge rally in New York City directly across the street from Ground Zero.  Thousands of people attended.  It was terrific.  It was one of those “you had to be there” experiences.  The crowd was most positive. 

 They overflowed the original area and completely filled the park and filled the sidewalks across the street. 

Infiltrators and trouble-makers were expected, but they either didn’t show or laid low because the police presence was very effective.  The police were respected and appreciated, when the 3-hour rally was over, there was no trash left behind.

Again we had a huge turnout of great Americans to show public support for our troops and their mission.  The best part was when we were gathering for our group photo.  A young lady pulled over, rolled down her window and said, “My husband is serving his 2nd tour in Afghanistan, what you are doing is so great!”  She was almost in tears.  “You don’t know how much it means to drive by and she all of you.”   Here is a picture of this courageous military wife.

She had 2 dogs in the back of the car, they watch out and protect her the same way her husband protects all of us.  Sorry, but I can’t remember her name or her husband’s name. Hopefully her husband will be able to see this picture of his wife from a computer in Afghanistan.  I told her, “Please tell your husband we are proud of him and we love him.”   Getting “thanks” like hers means the world to us.  We understand what the families go through, we know that the families “serve too”.

Andrea and her husband Justin held the flag for us.  We always end our rallies with the National Anthem and a prayer.

We had a great day, we were upbeat and we got a steady stream of honks and positive feedback from everybody. 

Anita is not hitching a ride, she proudly yelled, “Thank You” and returned the many thumbs up she got .

Frank, our WWII vet, comes to every rally, rain or shine.

Below is me and Dennis, he’s a vet and this was his first rally.  He said, “I will be back!”

We always like to have an Israeli flag at our rallies.  Especially now, because they are surrounded by countries that hate them and Iran has stated he wants to destroy them.  Currently they are being unfairly condemned for defending themselves.  The IDF (Israeli Defense Force) are beloved by our troops.  Our troops know that Israel is our ally and that they are fighting the same islamic jihadist assassins that they are.  Hamas and Hezballah are funded and armed by Iran and so are the Taliban and Al-Queda.  God bless Israel and her beautiful people, we support and stand with you!

Here’s Marine Bob, his son Sean was in the Navy and still serves in the USNR.

 The support the troops coin was passed my Marine Mom Laura (her Marine son Brian and daughter Ashleigh visited us a couple weeks ago).  Laura said, “I was honored to carry this coin in my pocket.”  She gave it to Bob, a Vietnam Vet, was awarded a Bronze Star and saw a lot of combat, including the Tet offensive.  His nephew Greg is an officer in the Marines.

Here’s another picture of the proud military wife.  We are so glad she stopped to say hello and hope we can see her again sometime.  We are on the corner every Saturday from 11AM till Noon.

While in New York on Sunday, I was able to meet up with our longtime friend and supporter, Pamela Geller.  She says, “What you guys are doing in West Chester is amazing! I love the Sheepdogs.”

Pamela is leading the charge against the 9/11 Mega Mosque being built at Ground Zero.  She says, “Ground Zero is a war memorial, its a burial site.  No Mega Mosque should be built there.”   She is leading a protest against the Mega Mosque on Sunday June 6.   She has been on TV a lot recently, talking about her new organization SIOA (Stop Islamization Of America).  She is a champion, her blog, Atlas Shrugs, is terrific, she puts out the most information on the violence and threats we face from radical Islamic Jihadists.

In Downingtown, PA, on Chestnut St, across from the Victory Brewing Company is a beautiful park, built to memorialize two brothers who died during World War II.   All you have to do is read the plaque.  It’s speaks more than we can say. 

The words on the stone grips your attention.

 and slowly you notice the details. 

 I guess James and Dominic had a pet dog.  The dog stands guard at this place of honor for his friends that never came back to play.

He holds a basket of flowers in sorrow and tribute.

This is the ultimate sacrifice made by one of many American families so that the rest of us could enjoy our lives in freedom.

We must not waste it.

 This park gives us a chance to sit and reflect on these two boys and their mother and father. It gives us a chance to say a prayer of thanks and remembrance.  I left a flag next to the stone.  This is an appropriate thing to do. Take time to visit a memorial near you, pay your respects, and decorate it with a flag.

We had a terrific turnout and people honked and waved the entire time.  We sang the National Anthem and said the Lord’s Prayer for our troops.  We took time to remember all our heroes who died so that we might live in freedom and liberty.

We were thrilled to meet Bill and Kay, they recently moved to West Chester and stumbled upon us.  Turns out they are proud military parents. Their son Bill is a CWO2 in the Army, he flies Apache helicopters and is currently training for an upcoming deployment. 

Below is Bill, he’s a WWII Vet and was 101st Airborne (“All the Way!”)  He stopped to say thanks and wanted to give us a donation.  Our WWII Vets are heroes and it’s guys like Airborne Bill who deserves our endless love and gratitude.  Behind him you can see Frank, a regular at our weekly rallies, also a WWII Vet.  Their sacrifices are why we won World War II.  If we hadn’t won that war, we would all be speaking German or Japanese.

The patriotic barber Tony, drove by a  few times in his Army jeep, flags flying to show his respects for the troops and America.

Our mascot Victor is from a long line of police and military dogs, today was his 7th-month birthday and he was glad to spend it with so many true patriots.  Thanks again to everyone for taking time out of their weekend to remember our troops, especially those who died while in service to this great nation. 

It’s not the teacher or the lawyer that makes sure we have our freedoms and liberties, its the soldier.
